Thanks to one of the guys on my Bear Mountain cruise yesterday, I got some action shots of my car! What a great way to celebrate Miata Monday!
Nice to roll with people who have actual cameras.
The Miata crew. (note, it was like 35 degrees right about this point)
And a good money shot!

You got some bug guts on your car....
2016 will be the year of the Miata for me...

I thought your car looked familiar and after some digging I was right! I was at the Glen Region test and tune and autocross you came up to! We hope to see you again!

Haha small world then! Yeah, I will definitely come back for another test and tune. By far my favorite event I’ve done all year. I will certainly have to come back with better tires next time!

If only that were just bug guts. Quite a bit of rock chips on my front bumper. Hood is starting to get that way too unfortunately. Just hard to keep paint nice when you drive the doors off the car lol. I would touch up that paint there though since the rest of the car is in good shape.

Why thank you! Other than the maroon and BRG NB colors, this is my favorite miata color. Although the yellow one is really awesome too.

I wish the ND would come out in better colors befitting a Miata. I’m crossing my fingers that they will come along in a couple of years when I am ready to buy one.

Starting out on crap tires is actually a great way to learn, sticky tires can easily cover up a lot of mistakes and bad tires force you to drive at the cars limit. As for that test and tune in the 4 years Ive been running that was the most fun Ive had as well.

Well yeah one full season of crap no-season tires is more than enough for me. I’m excited for any sort of summer tires. I want to go for something super competitive but I feel like really any summer tire will be a crazy improvement. I just don’t want to ruin my tires with too much street driving.
